Chocolate White Bean Brownies

Recipe Serves: 16
I am such a brownie lover, but have not had a brownie in, I want to say, years!
I could never find a good, healthy one that is worth eating.
Well, I thought, why not make my own brownies and sub some ingredients?!

I am always asked for healthy, nutritious recipes that parents can make for their kids.
Well, here is one!
This recipe is so delicious and hides the fact that it is made of beans, which is high in protein and fiber.
Have you tried to get your kids to beans, and failed?
If your kids do eat beans, you are lucky!
I know many picky eater adults, and I had some of them try this recipe out.
They had no idea there were beans in it!
I told them afterwards, and they were utterly shocked.
I am so stoked to share this recipe with all of you!

1 1/2 cups cannellini beans (1- 15 ounce can) drained, rinsed
1/2 cups oats
1/3 cups 100% maple syrup
1/4 cup applesauce
1/2 cup chocolate chips
3 Tbsp raw cacao powder
1 Tbsp vanilla extract
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp baking powder

1. Preheat oven to 350F.
2. Combine all ingredients into a food processor and blend it all together so it is smooth and well mixed. I use a Cuisinart, and it came out perfectly.
3. Fold in the chocolate chips.
4. Spray avocado oil or spread coconut oil along insides of baking pan.
5. Pour mixture into baking pan. You can add more chocolate chips on top if you want. I thought about adding shredded coconut.
6. Bake for 16-18 minutes.
7. Allow to cool and enjoy!
